I’m keeping this one short and sweet, because Sarah Jaffe’s music will do all the talking for me. I like her debut album, but I have an obsession with her vocals in Tunnelvisionary by The Flowers of God.  Like all of my music phases/passions/fixations, this song is wearing a hole in my play list.  I even twitter stalked the group. Tunnelvisionary is very palatable, but that does not mean generic or bland. It’s hard not to enjoy it.

I also love that The Flowers of God are an Oak Cliff original.  Shout out to the Cliff.

  1. Wow, just listened to Satrah Jaffe yesterday and LOVED her music. She was named #3 by PASTE magazine on best solo artists of 2010 — http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/lists/2010/12/10-best-new-solo-artists-of-2010.html?p=4 — will check out Tunnelvisionary! Thanks and Happy Holidays.

  2. I hadn’t read that! She is local Dallas girl. Happy Holidays to you too!
